Facilities Officer
(Myanmar Citizen) (Status: Accepting applications)
American University of Yangon is searching for a qualified Facilities Officer to work alongside security and maintenance staff to ensure our buildings and grounds are clean and safe. The facilities officer oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the cleanliness and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine cleaning inspections, planning maintenance work, supervising facilities staff, and purchasing cleaning supplies. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
Delivery: On campus
Frequency: 8 hours, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
Ensure all building facilities are clean and safe
Fix and maintain equipment in classrooms
Organize and plan building refurbishments
Supervise cleaning and security staff
Maintaing the garden
Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
Run routine maintenance inspections
Prepare and implement project budgets for cleaning supplies
Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Great supervision skills
Background with hotel and hospitality industry
Ability to identify spatial improvements
Strong attention to detail
Excellent sense of environmental hygiene
Knowledge of hygiene standards and regulations
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Burmese and English
