People Operations Manager
The Role
We are currently seeking a talented and professional People Operations Manager to join our team and manage all human resource (HR) procedures. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and professional learning and development. In addition, the People Operations Manager will play a critical role in developing and fostering a strong organizational culture by taking the lead in relevant projects and initiatives.
To perform well in this role you should have experience as an HR Manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements.
Responsibilities
Create, implement, and evaluate all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures
Identify the company’s hiring needs, including faculty hiring for the University programs, and manage the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly
Support employee engagement and develop strategies that reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and culture
Maintain a smooth on-boarding process for new hires
Design and implement effective training and development plans
Conduct regular performance and wage reviews
Develop clear company policies and ensuring policy awareness
Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures
Maintain employee and workplace privacy and confidentiality
Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Deal makers
At least 3-4 years of work experience in HR, preferably in an international and/or multicultural setting
Experience in educating and coaching staff
Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes
Good understanding of the full recruitment process
Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
Boosts
Experience studying and/or working in the U.S. or U.K.
