External Program Coordinator (American College Grad)

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time external program coordinator. The responsibilities of this position include planning and coordinating students for programs, student clubs and activities for prospective students of AU and BU, coordinating program agenda for recruitment events, representing AU and BU in recruitment events and outreach activities, and providing consultation to prospective students and parents.

Responsibilities

  • Summer Programs Coordination

  • Weekly Public Events and Activities Planning and Coordination

  • Screen and admit students who are prospective and fit for AU and BU

  • Work closely with the admissions team to plan interesting recruitment activities specially designed for summer program students

  • Get to know and provide consultation services to summer program students

  • Plan and lead orientations and farewells for summer programs students

  • Make timetables and coordinate with teachersRepresenting and Admissions Counselling

  • Speak and represent AU and BU in seminars, fairs, and high schools

  • Provide consultation services to prospective students and parents who inquire

  • Proctor admissions tests

  • Conduct in-person interviews with the students who applied

Deal makers

  • Native English speaker

  • Experience or interest in marketing and business development

  • Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum requirement, preferably from a U.S. university

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in American higher education systems and policies

  • Positive, cooperative personality and ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team

  • Open-minded, flexible and dynamic

  • Highly motivated self-starter

Boosts

  • 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in education and/or student recruitment

  • Experience working in an international and/or multicultural setting

  • Desire to innovate and create change within a dynamic organization
